Introducing the PHXPodcast.club Message Board.

Your eyes do not deceive you.
Those words up there really do say Message Board.

We’ve added a good old-fashioned message board to phxpodcast.club, powered by bbPress. If you remember phpBB forums, mailing lists, or the internet before everything turned into a Discord server or a Facebook group, this will feel familiar. It’s simple. It’s focused. And most importantly, it lives right here on our site, not scattered across a dozen platforms.

So why not just use Discord or Signal?

Two reasons. First, we didn’t do a great job announcing those options, so you may have been today years old when you learned they existed. Second—and more important—a forum lets us build something that lasts. If someone asks about podcast hosting services or microphones six months from now, the answers are still there. Findable. Useful. Not buried under a thousand new messages.

Let’s give this a shot.

Click Community in the menu and choose Join the Community. To keep the riffraff out, this is members-only. Don’t be surprised if you get a quick message from Don or Evo to confirm you’re legit.

We’ve set up a few forums to get things rolling. Drop in, introduce yourself, share what you’re working on, or finally ask that gear question you’ve been sitting on.

Now we have a proper place to do it.
